Jeffries is the
OUA Coach of the Year for the second year in a
row. He took the Wilfrid Laurier Golden
Hawks from the basement of the OUA to Yates Cup
champions in just two years.
What
Happens When the Going Gets Tough?
That's the Wilfrid Laurier motto that sums up
the mind set that took them to the OUA
championship. Gary spoke about the Hawks'
undefeated surge to the top this year after
finishing 1-7 two years ago, how they identified the
problems, learned from them, and conquered them
through commitment on the part of everybody on
the team. |

Anderson is
the long time coach of the Michigan Tech
Huskies, who have two Ravens on the roster -
Chad Santo and Steve Fantetti. He is
Michigan Tech's all-time most successful coach
with 75 wins.
The Power
to Choose
Bernie spoke of everybody's power to choose, and
how momentum was built at Michigan Tech.
Momentum is simply a change of attitude, which
is in everybody's power to choose. The
individual's attitude plus teamwork will result
in a winning product every time, and that's how
the Huskies won the conference after the
football program was actually discontinued last
year. He finished with three rules that
will help everybody succeed in life - Do What's
Right, Do the Best You Can, and Treat People the
Way You Want to be Treated... The Winning
